Trail Rides

We accommodate individual riders to large groups.

No experience is necessary, we have quiet, well trained horses for all types of riders.

The Evangeline Ride – 1.5 Hour Ride

Requires 5 day notice notice to book

The ninety minute Evangeline Ride is our most popular ride. Be ready to experience the beauty of our incredible location. No two rides are the same as we explore our many trails and features. This could mean any combination of riding Eagle Ridge where we often see bald eagles, or ride along the scenic tidal Kennetcook River, ride through fields, or ride alongside the historic Stanley airport runways or explore some of our many trails that intertwine throughout the area.

Elite Private Rides

Start at $100/hr per rider Must be booked at least 14 days in advance

For those seeking a private, intimate experience in nature. Evangeline Trail Rides now offers private riding excursions. PLEASE NOTE** groups larger than 6 riders may require a non-refundable deposit to book. Please contact Crystal for full details.

Booking Your Ride – what to know!

To book you trail ride adventure please contact Crystal at (902)632-2637. Please reference the Contact section for additional contact information.
If you have ridden with us before and if you have a preferred horse, please let us know when you book and we will do our best to reserve that horse for you.

For insurance reasons, we cannot accept riders under the age of nine as of the date of the ride. As much as we love the little buckaroos, our insurers are stuck on this.

Please be sure to arrive ready to ride fifteen minutes prior to your booked time. That allows us to get you registered, helmet sized, and mounted up in time for your scheduled ride.

CANCELLATION POLICY – no charge if you call to cancel your ride at least 4 hours in advance. “No-show” bookings may be subject to a fee due on the next ride.

What to wear:

  • Long pants only, regardless of season. Jeans are recommended.
  • We recommend boots/shoes with a small heel. NO sandals/crocs or open toed shoes!
  • Waterproof jacket (raincoat). No ponchos, please.
  • Summer: bring bug spray for you
  • Winter: wear layers that you can move in. Mittens are warmer than gloves.
Please review our Terms prior to booking your adventure.
